That&#8217;s how I came across Serve the City Leuven! Initially, I thought being a newcomer and not speaking Dutch would mean I would have a hard time getting involved, however STC proved me entirely wrong by being such a wonderful and welcoming organization. It is inspiring to see how STC brings people together and steps in to help with the local needs, whatever these may be. I&#8217;ve the opportunity to help out with a few different projects so far, from cooking and serving meals to painting walls and carrying furniture around &#8211; and it genuinely feels really nice to help out while having lots of fun and meeting new people. The STC organizers play a huge role in bringing people closer to the community and I am very thankful to be a part of this.
