March 3 – 19h – EXPO plus
Expo is back…this year earlier and ‘plus’. It will be a mix of artforms and a presentation by Carlton Deal (Founder of Serve the City) about the motivation for serving humanity. It will be back in our offices at Leo XIII seminarie and with a private sponsor funding the expo (through the connection of Leo XIII)! Check out www.servethecityexpo.be for more info.
Expo review
Lots of people worked lots of hours to make the Expo a great night. Over 100 people came out to experience a variety of creative pictures printed on canvas accompanied by poetry and inspiring quotes. It was held at Leo XIII seminary, a place that looks like a scene in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It’s quiet impressive. We had a classical music DJ (never thought these words could go together), hundreds of candles, food and a short-film (featuring MOST). There were also a number of organizations present that we support and groups who work with us. Marek & Freya were the creative genius behind the Expo with the help of Mon, Veerle, Patricia, Jonathan, Cristina, Alex, Tina, Kyle, Kay & Brennan. A big thanks also to Stijn, the director of Leo XIII!
Our hope is that the Expo inspired many people to dream about their potential for good. On the top floor Freya came up with the idea for a dream wall where people could write down their aspirations for their lives, their cities, their world.

Discover the story…Serve the City Expo!
We are hoping this will be an inspiring evening for everyone…a fusion of photgraphy, music, poetry & film to tell the story of Serve the City in Leuven. There will also be food & drinks. It will be open-house style starting at 19h till about 22h. It will take place at Leo XIII seminarie on the corner of Tiensestraat & Andreas Vesalius Straat. The main entrance will be in front of Group T. Looking forward to meeting you!
Featuring also the 2003 Academy Award Nominee Short Fim called ‘MOST’. There will be 3 showings: 19h30, 20h30 and 21h30.

Featuring Academy Award Nominated Short Film @ EXPO
During the Expo (12 May) we will be showing 3 screenings (at 19h30, 20h30 & 21h30) of the short-film ‘MOST’. It’s a powerful film about love, pain, hope and life. (The Expo is at Leo XIII seminarie, on the corner of Tiensestraat & Andreas Vesaliusstraat, right accross from Group T).
