Through Serve the City people come together to serve in all kinds of project. As a result friendship start, so we felt the need to create some spaces where people can continue to meet each other and continue some of the conversations that were started while painting a school, playing with kids, serving the elderly or cleaning a dirty basement of a soup kitchen.

We dreamed of a creative space where people could openly talk about things that matter in life, things that make a difference and the values that are at the foundation of Serve the city and our inspiration, the life and message of Jesus Christ.

So we launched CityTalk Leuven in October and we have done a few experimental evenings already and they have been a lot of fun, informing, challenging and inspiring. Topics ranged from ‘the problem of suffering’, ‘the problem of human trafficking’ to a ‘game night’ and a ‘creative night’. We have been hosting them in a cafe (de Lange Trappen). You can see more on www.citytalkleuven.be or Facebook.

We hope CityTalk Leuven will continue to be inspiring, fun and a catalyst for good in our world!
